AccuTite
Precision RF for Small Areas

InMode's smallest contraction handpiece, designed for the precise treatment of smaller, delicate areas, tightening loose and saggy skin through a tiny incision.

AccuTite at Natural Results Plastic Surgery is performed personally by Dr. Carlos Mata, board-certified plastic surgeon (ABPS/FACS), Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2018, and Newsweek America's Best Plastic Surgeon, at the practice's AAAASF-accredited surgical suite in Scottsdale, Arizona. 25,000+ procedures performed.

AccuTite is InMode's smallest RFAL handpiece, a minimally invasive radiofrequency treatment designed for the precise treatment of smaller, delicate areas. A small probe placed beneath the skin delivers temperature-monitored RF energy that contracts soft tissue. At Natural Results in Scottsdale, Dr. Carlos Mata performs AccuTite together with liposuction as part of Magic Tight®, on InMode's IgniteRF platform.

01
The Treatment

What Is AccuTite?

AccuTite is part of InMode's RFAL portfolio. RFAL stands for RadioFrequency Assisted Lipocoagulation, and InMode describes all RFAL technologies as minimally invasive devices designed to deliver tissue contraction. AccuTite is “the smallest contraction handpiece, designed for the precise treatment of smaller, delicate areas,” and InMode calls it the smallest minimally invasive RF device in the RFAL family of products.

InMode specifies the AccuTite cannula at 6 cm long and 0.9 mm in diameter, the smallest of its RFAL handpieces.

AccuTite runs on InMode's IgniteRF system, which is FDA-cleared for dermatological and general surgical procedures where coagulation or contraction of soft tissue is needed.

02
How It Works

How AccuTite Works

InMode describes the procedure as RF thermal coagulation and contraction of the tissue beneath the skin. Radiofrequency energy passes between the internal electrode at the tip of the probe and an external return electrode in contact with the skin. InMode explains that this heats the fibrous septa and the papillary dermis, resulting in collagen contraction.

The internal electrode has an embedded temperature sensor to monitor the tissue temperature, the return electrode has its own sensor to monitor your skin temperature, and the system automatically adjusts its power to reach and control the target temperature.

Treatment Areas

Where AccuTite Can Be Used

InMode sets AccuTite parameters for the face and neck and for small specialty areas. At Natural Results, small areas can include:

  • Jowls alone
  • Knees
  • Elbows
  • Upper and lower eyelids
  • Hands

InMode's guidance is that RFAL treats areas with some fat beneath the skin and a minimum thickness of 5 mm, so Dr. Mata will confirm at consultation whether your area is suited to AccuTite. For sagging knees, AccuTite is our less invasive alternative to a knee lift.

04
What to Expect

Your AccuTite Treatment

AccuTite is performed in our office by Dr. Carlos Mata (a.k.a. Dr. Scottsdale®) personally. The treatment zones are marked first.

Dr. Mata then creates tiny incisions to insert the probe. For the knees, that means one or two tiny incisions in each knee. For treatment on the face, InMode leaves the use of compression garments to the physician's discretion, and Dr. Mata will tell you what your area needs.

According to InMode, a single RFAL treatment provides natural-looking results.

05
Candidacy

Is AccuTite Right for You?

AccuTite is excellent for patients with mild sagging. It is designed for small, localized areas, which at Natural Results can include the jowls alone, knees, elbows, upper and lower eyelids, and hands.

InMode's consent language is clear that results vary from individual to individual, are age-dependent, and are never guaranteed. Please review the list below and share your full medical history at consultation.

A few timing notes from InMode: if you have had hyaluronic acid filler in the area, wait at least six months before RF treatment there, and about one week after neurotoxin. Blood thinners should be stopped 10 days before treatment if medically permitted, and if you have a history of cold sores and are having the area around the mouth treated, preventive antiviral medication is prescribed.

06
Results

When You'll See Results

InMode notes that swelling, a tightening effect from that swelling, and immediate collagen shrinkage are seen during and after treatment, and that improvement of contour may be seen immediately.

All effects then improve gradually over 3 to 12 months. InMode's patient materials explain that skin tightening may not be fully apparent for 6 to 12 months, and that it takes 3 to 6 months before changes in skin tightening can be perceived and 12 months before final results can be appreciated.

07
Combination Treatments

Pairing AccuTite With Morpheus8

Morpheus8 is InMode's fractional skin treatment that stimulates the underlying layers of the dermis. Morpheus8 Burst handpieces run on the same IgniteRF platform as AccuTite. InMode states that Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments, and can be combined with other InMode energy procedures to achieve more extensive results.

At Natural Results, Morpheus8 is performed by our MedSpa team.

AccuTite is also how Dr. Mata performs Magic Tight®, Dr. Scottsdale's skin tightening process, on small localized areas.

The RFAL Family

AccuTite, FaceTite, and BodyTite

AccuTite, FaceTite, and BodyTite are minimally invasive skin tightening procedures that together can be used on the entire body. All three are based on RF thermal coagulation and contraction of the tissue beneath the skin. InMode sizes each one for different areas:

  • AccuTite: the smallest contraction handpiece, designed for the precise treatment of smaller, delicate areas
  • FaceTite: contracts loose tissue in small body areas
  • BodyTite: skin contraction in larger body areas

Dr. Mata will choose the right device to address your skin laxity concerns based on your goals, expectations, and body area.

What to Expect

Every patient heals at their own pace. These milestones reflect InMode's published guidance for its RFAL handpieces; Dr. Mata will give you personal aftercare instructions for your treatment.

  1. Day of treatment

Fluid may drain from the tiny incision points for 1 to 3 days, and the dressing is changed daily.

  2. First 2 to 3 days

  3. 7 to 10 days

Bruising may last 7 to 10 days or more. Limit physical activity and exposure to excessive heat and UV light for two weeks.
