How Botox Works
Botox (botulinum toxin type A) temporarily blocks the nerve signals that cause specific muscles to contract. In aesthetic use, small precise doses relax the muscles that create expression lines — between the brows, across the forehead, around the eyes.
Because Botox works on muscle activity, it's most effective for dynamic lines (those that appear when you move your face). Static lines etched by years of movement may soften but not fully resolve; they often need to be combined with filler or skin-tightening treatments for full correction.
