BodyTite is an advanced body contouring procedure with RFAL (Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction) technology. This minimally invasive lipolysis treatment not only melts fat but also causes permanent tissue retraction, meaning skin tightening. Using this advanced skin tightening machine, patients achieve results without requiring extensive scarring.
BodyTite is an advanced body contouring procedure powered by RFAL (Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction). This minimally invasive lipolysis treatment melts fat while simultaneously causing permanent tissue retraction, i.e., skin tightening. The result: contouring without the extensive scarring of traditional surgery.
BodyTite is an in-office procedure. The area is numbed using the same tumescent solution we use for our rapid recovery breast augmentation: saline, local anesthetic, and epinephrine. Dr. Carlos Mata (a.k.a. Dr. Scottsdale®) uses a small cannula to inject the numbing solution under the skin.
Afterward, BodyTite, the skin tightening technology device, is used to melt the fat and tighten the skin. This is different from any other skin tightening laser or machine because it uses bipolar radiofrequency energy, also known as RFAL. The last step is the use of a small liposuction cannula to remove the melted fat. You get rid of unwanted fat without the worries of sagging and lax skin afterward.
BodyTite is powered by directional bipolar radiofrequency. It allows three-dimensional tissue remodeling for lift and tightening, as well as radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (fat melting). The volumetric heating creates fat coagulation to reduce fat without sagging skin.
Results can be seen immediately, with a noticeable improvement in the following 6 to 12 months.
Downtime is minimal. Because the procedure is done in-office, you'll be able to return home as soon as your treatment is complete. Depending on the area treated and how many areas are treated, your downtime may vary from 2 days up to 10 days. If sutures are used to close the tiny incision, they will be dissolving and do not require removal.
