Virtual consultation
Meet Dr. Mata over video before you book a flight. We review your photos, discuss the plan, and confirm you're a candidate — all without leaving home.
Pre-op coordination
Your concierge sends a personalized travel checklist: lab work, medication holds, medical clearance from your local PCP if needed, and a packing list tailored to your procedure.
Arrival & in-person visit
We greet you the day before surgery for a final consult, photo session, and Q&A. You meet the surgical team, tour the facility, and confirm your post-op plan.
Surgery day
Procedures take place at our AAAASF-accredited surgical suite. Most patients are discharged the same day to a partner hotel with optional overnight nursing care.
Recovery in Scottsdale
You stay nearby for the duration above. We schedule daily check-ins for the first 48 hours, then post-op visits at days 3, 7, and 10 depending on procedure.
Travel-clearance & remote follow-up
Dr. Mata signs off on travel personally. Once home, we continue care via video at weeks 2, 6, and 3 months — no need to fly back unless you want to.
How Long You'll Be in Town
These are guidance ranges. Your surgical coordinator confirms the exact timeline once your procedure plan is finalized.
A short stay with one post-op check before you fly home. Most patients land Tuesday and leave by the weekend.
Time for swelling to settle, drains to come out, and Dr. Mata to clear you for travel. We schedule two follow-ups in this window.
Extended recovery is built into the plan. Optional at-hotel nursing, lymphatic massage, and concierge meal delivery available.

Licensed RNs available for the first 24–48 hours post-op. Drain management, wound checks, medication oversight.
Lymphatic massage
Critical for liposuction and mommy makeover patients. Booked at a partner studio walking distance from your hotel.
Companion logistics
We help your travel companion find a comfortable place to stay, recommend restaurants, and structure their days while you recover.
Pharmacy delivery
Prescriptions are filled before you arrive and delivered to your hotel — no detours when you're tired and sore.
