Kybella is injected directly into the fat beneath the chin, where it destroys fat cells. Because those cells are gone for good, results are permanent once the desired contour is reached. Most patients need two to four sessions spaced about a month apart.
For more fullness or faster results in one step, neck liposuction may be a better option.
Expect swelling beneath the chin for several days after each session — a sign the treatment is working. Results build gradually over the treatment series, with the final, permanent contour appearing a few weeks after the last session.
