It can be done alone or combined. The surgical technique used by Dr. Mata and Dr. Benjamin always follows three steps. It allows liposuction to be performed safely with minimal scarring while giving smoother results and a faster recovery.

Tumescent Liposuction

During tumescent liposuction, the surgeon injects a special solution below the skin to swell target areas, making it easier to remove fat. The tumescent solution is composed of intravenous saline, a local anesthetic called lidocaine, and epinephrine. It numbs the area, contracts blood vessels to minimize bleeding, and expands fat tissue. The swollen tissues allow the cannula to glide smoothly beneath the skin. As a result, patients experience less bleeding and recover faster thanks to the numbing and constrictive effects of the tumescent fluid. Liposuction Procedure

STEP 1: Anesthesia
