Femilift: Non-Surgical Vaginal Rejuvenation

At Natural Results Plastic Surgery, we offer a non-invasive laser solution for women with special conditions affecting their feminine health. The FemiLift Fractional CO2 laser helps tighten female genital tissue to a more youthful state. The laser energy incites a healing response within the tissues, which causes a deep thermal effect for vaginal collagen remodeling. The FemiLift treatment is easily performed in our office in as little as 15 – 30 minutes or a lunch hour. FemiLift can improve the following conditions:

  • Vaginal dryness
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Post-menopause indications
  • Post-delivery rehabilitation
  • Vaginal atrophy
  • Recurring infections

Treatment Technique

When you come into our office, we will escort you to a private treatment room for your discretion. Once you are prepped for treatment, the FemiLift Fractional CO2 laser (a disposable hygienic probe) will be inserted into your vagina to deliver energy approximately 0.5 mm deep. There is no need for anesthetics. The laser will damage the tissues just enough to stimulate a healing response for new collagen formation and a thicker vaginal lining. This can all be completed within a 15 – 30-minute timeframe.

During/After Treatment

Results of a FemiLift treatment are expected to last 18 months – 2 years, but results may vary. We ask that you follow all your doctor’s aftercare instructions and follow-up maintenance appointments after your first treatment. Many patients repeat the treatment in a year to maintain tightness and urinary control.

Femilift FAQs

What Are The Risk?

FemiLift is safe and does not affect your reproductive system as it involves the vaginal area only. FemiLift can be performed at any time and it has no effect on fertility, pregnancy, or delivery. There is no need to wait until after childbirth or after breastfeeding your baby. Keep in mind that hormonal fluctuations will increase your sensitivity to the treatments. If you have a vaginal birth, we ask that you wait 3 months for your skin to heal naturally. This is especially important for our patients who have had an episiotomy.

What About Pregnancy?

After this skin laxity treatment, the downtime is minimal, because the probe is small. The risk of significant bruising is far less than with a traditional facelift. You can return home immediately when your procedure is finished, and you can resume normal daily activities shortly after. It is possible to experience swelling and some bruising. Wearing a compression garment is required to ensure optimal results.

How many treatments?

Depending on the severity of your symptoms, you may need additional FemiLift treatments. This can be discussed during your initial consultation. It is important to have realistic expectations of what this technology can do. Individual results may vary.
