With Volbella injections in the lip, we can achieve a natural-looking lip appearance that has a silky sheen finish in about 15-30 minutes in our office. Different lip shapes are achievable through a variety of filling techniques in different quantities.
The injection site will be cleansed, and topical numbing cream applied (especially if you are worried about the pain). This is not a painless injection — more of a stinging sensation — however, Volbella is also blended with lidocaine for this reason. It may take up to a week for proper healing.
