Before the surgery starts, Dr. Mata numbs the entire chest to allow his patients to have a faster and more comfortable recovery.
Once the chest is fully numbed, our surgeon makes a small incision on the areola (nipple) and two discreet incisions in the shoulder/armpit crease. These incisions, smaller than a pinky finger, provide access to the entire chest area for precise liposuction and gland removal.
Dr. Mata uses VASER Liposuction to contour and sculpt the entire chest, effectively removing excess fat and melting glandular tissue. If any gland tissue remains, Dr. Mata will manually remove it through a small, single-stitch incision on the areola. This comprehensive approach ensures his patients get the best results possible.
Magic Tight® is a technique developed by Dr. Mata to address skin laxity, which often occurs after liposuction or in certain gynecomastia cases. This innovative approach utilizes an FDA-approved device called Renuvion to target loose skin, providing patients with optimal results. As a result, the skin becomes significantly tighter and more toned.
It’s important to distinguish between gynecomastia, which involves excess breast tissue, and pseudogynecomastia, where fat accumulation causes chest enlargement.
