Martin Benjamin, MD, is a Manhattan dual-trained Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Benjamin has a particular interest in Rhinoplasty that he developed during his Manhattan training days with one of the most renowned rhinoplasty specialists in the USA. He offers rhinoplasty for both cosmetic (open and close incision) and corrective (breathing issues) reasons. Facial rejuvenation, such as eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), Body contouring (liposuction, tummy tuck, Brazilian Butt Lift) and breast surgery (breast lift) are just some of the procedures Dr. Benjamin offers.

Rapid Recovery Breast Augmentation is one of Dr. Benjamin’s most sought-after surgery. This surgical technique enhances the appearance of the breast by adding volume, cleavage, and fullness while allowing the patient to go back to regular activity 1 to 2 days after surgery. This technique combines specific numbing and cutting techniques that reduce the pain during and after surgery. During his consultation, Dr. Benjamin uses Vectra 3D imaging that creates a 3D image of the breast. This gives estimated results with different implant sizes, allowing his patients to envision their future results and choose the perfect implant size for their desired look.

Education

Dr. Benjamin joined Natural Results Plastic Surgery in Scottsdale at the end of the summer 2021, and followed Dr. Carlos Mata aka Dr. Scottsdale® to learn specific techniques and technologies that are offered in this office. Like Dr. Mata, Dr. Benjamin combines surgical techniques and innovative technology like Vaser Liposuction with Magic Tight®,  a combination of Vaser (ultrasound device), Liposuction (Micro-Air assisted), and Renuvion (J-plasma), to give his patient the best results possible as it aids in skin tightening, smoother results, and faster recovery.

He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and completed his medical degree. Dr. Benjamin has a strong interest in translational research, cancer epigenetics, and novel cancer drugs. He conducted research studies at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as a designated Medical Student Research Fellow and contributed to the opening of new Phase I and II clinical trials for novel cancer drug development in Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) as well as early-stage Colon and Breast Cancers.

After medical school, Dr. Benjamin completed his five years of General Surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago; where he trained at renowned institutions, such as Cook County Hospital, the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, and the Level I Advocate Christ Medical Center. During the years of training, his passion for plastic surgery further developed and he was recruited to New York to pursue a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency. Dr. Benjamin completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical training at the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC, in affiliation with SUNY-Stony Brook University.
